Bas-reliefs have long captured battles, divine encounters, and the rise of empires. Today, power is wielded through supply chains, rare earth minerals, and the quiet hum of server farms. In the Anthropocene, where human industry reshapes the planet, digital infrastructure defines global power as profoundly as stone and steel once did.
Much like ancient reliefs condensing complex histories into frozen moments, these sculptures embody the technological and industrial forces shaping contemporary life. They are artifacts of a civilization in flux.
By merging traditional sculptural methods with contemporary processes, these bas-reliefs act as both document and critique, mapping the unseen forces that structure modern existence. Sculpture is not merely an object but a record of its time, inscribed with the tensions between progress and decay, permanence and obsolescence.
